B2B MEETINGS AGENDA
SKINERIE are a top selling skincare brand in Portugal and were looking to introduce their brands into the UK market. Xtend2 were asked to assist the company by arranging meetings with important UK buyers in the skincare sector that included Walgreens Boots Alliance, Lloyds Pharmacies and Chemist Direct.
INWARD TRADE MISSION
In March 2019 we were contracted by the Canadian Food Exporters Association to undertake a trade mission to Scotland and Ireland. The remit was to present a market overview session and arrange B2B meetings and retail visits for 8 Canadian companies. All the companies were given tailor made meetings agendas with key buyers chosen for every product offering. We also put together a retail tour which gave a broad overview of the different food & drink retail offering for consumers in Scotland and the Republic of Ireland.
OUTWARD TRADE MISSION
We were contracted by the Chamber of Commerce of Alava, Spain to identify and invite 7 wine importers from the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland to visit wine producers in Rioja Alavesa.
Xtend2 assisted with all the travel logistics as well as accompanied the outward trade mission to help with translation.
HOSTED BUYER TRADE FAIR
Xtend2 has been the UK delegate for Fenavin Wine Fair since 2007. We identify and invite 20 UK wine buyers to join the Hosted Buyer Programme for Fenavin. Over the years we have taken the major supermarkets, major wine wholesalers as well as key wine buyers in the horeca sector. We have also invited important wine journalists as well as selected Masters of Wine. We have received excellent feedback from all wine buyers that we have taken to this fair.
TRADE WEBINAR
Xtend2 were contracted by Alberta Agriculture and Forestry to organise an educational webinar that provided an overview of opportunities for Canadian producers of dietary supplements interested in exploring the European markets. The interactive session provided a dynamic overview of opportunities in Europe with a focus on distribution channels in the key markets of Germany, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Spain and the Scandinavian countries.
